The Sylva/MacIver Governorship campaign train is leaving no stone unturned as they continue their community to community tour in order to introduce and amass followers to the party in preparation for the Bayelsa November 11 Gubernatorial polls.

The campaign train led by the Deputy Governorship candidate of the all Progressive Congress APC, the Great Joshua Maclver made a stop at Ayama Ijaw community in Southern Ijaw Local Government area and was welcomed in grand style.

In keeping to tradition and giving honour to whom honour is due, the first stop was the palace of His Royal Highness Chief Amen Sariki, where the king and his council of Chiefs recieved Maclver and his entourage.

In appreciation for the visit, king Sariki and his council pledged their support and prayed for the victory of the party in the upcoming election.

Next stop was the Ayama APC forum where the Great Maclver was made acquainted with critical stakeholders of the party in the community.

The Great Maclver was formally introduced to the community at the occasion ground and in show of their solidarity and support for the party and the Sylva/Maciver ticket. Youth President along with other key members of the community who have been working tirelessly for the opposition party without any gains formally defected to the APC and were welcomed with open hands by the party leadership.

Appreciating the community for their show of love, Maclver applauded their resolve in serving the party and urged them not to relent as they will surely reap the fruit of their labour.

He also welcomed the defectors to the party and urged them to show their loyalty through their actions.

The message of peaceful conduct and violence free elections took center stage as some members of the community barred their minds on the events of the day In an interview with Naija live TV…..
