MAKINDE: SAFETY OF OYO SCHOOLS, CHILDREN AND TEACHERS NON-NEGOTIABLE

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring the safety of schools across the state, declaring that the protection of children and teachers remains non-negotiable.

The governor made the commitment during a one-day seminar themed “Building Resilient Schools: Strengthening Operational Capacity for Safety, Security and Child Protection in Oyo State Educational Institutions.”

Governor Makinde said the government would continue to strengthen measures aimed at safeguarding pupils, students and teachers amid rising security concerns across the country. He stressed that protecting children and teachers remains a top priority of his administration as it works to provide a safe and secure learning environment in all educational institutions across the state.
