…Commended President Buhari for consolidating achievements previous governments

The APC Campaign Organization has sent a message of felicitation to the president and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammad Buhari, Vice president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President, Dr. Ahmed Lawan, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the Minister for Petroleum Resources(state) and leader of APC in the state, Chief Timipre Sylva, the APC candidate for the Bayelsa West Senatorial bye-election, Rt. Hon. Peremobowei Ebebi, the APC family and the entire citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the auspicious occasion of the 60th anniversary of our beloved nation state.

According to the Campaign Organization, maintaining the unity and corporate existence of our beloved nation for sixty years calls for celebration, stressing that managing the affairs of a country with coordinate proportion of both centripetal and centrifugal forces is, by all standards, an onerous task.

The campaign Organization commended the APC-led administration for consolidating on the achievements of the previous governments, especially, the steps taken to intensify the area of anti-graft crusade, security and other macro-economic measures taken to reflate our economy.

It is particularly fascinated by the decision of the present administration to expand the ongoing rail project to the borders of our neighbors as part of measures to implement the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement that places emphasis on stimulating intra-African trade and communication. It observes that these measures will certainly produce concomitant effects in mitigating covid-19 disruptions. The group, therefore, calls on the federal government to also extend the ongoing rail project to Bayelsa State so as to create the desirable sense of belonging.
