The newly appointed leadership of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has observed with shock the activities of criminal elements in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital and other parts of the state who engage in swindling innocent Bayelsans with the extortion of money for purported recruitment into the service of the association.
Am by this announcement, stating clearly that recruitment into the service of IPMAN in Bayelsa and other Niger Delta States have not commenced.
“IPMAN under the leadership of Hon. Bello Bina will ensure that when recruitment starts, the entry form will be FREE and recruitment done based on credibility, capacity and without political bias”
“Every qualified youth will be engaged from the eight local government council areas and oil producing communities of the state and the Niger Delta”
“We are using this medium to warn those criminal elements involved in scamming innocent individuals to desist as their activities have been reported to the law enforcement agencies. We also urge the general public, who are qualified, to remain calm as the recruitment exercise into IPMAN will be done soonest”
“And we are warning those involved in oil pipeline vandalism, adulteration of fuel and criminal acts in the oil and gas sector to desist as their time is up with the new IPMAN executive”
