The people of Ikeibiri 11 in Southern Ijaw LGA of Bayelsa State has shown an undiluted love, support and respect for their monarch, His Highness, Chief Samuel Fiobote, by Celebrating him at 80.
The birthday celebration, which is almost like a planned carnival had the members of the community, non idegenes and visitors from neighboring communities celebrating the monarch.
The entire community was agog in joyous mood and organized various kinds of events to mark the birthday of the Paramount ruler.
Highpoint of the celebration is the cutting of cake.
The birthday celebrations climaxed with a toast.
The coordinator of the Birthday Celebration, Chief Ben Foreman and Council of Chiefs, Youths, women groups, commended their monarch for his kind nature and wisdom, over the years.
His Highness, Chief Samuel Fiobote, was deputy to his predecessor in 1972 and ascended the throne in 2006 after the demise of his predecessor.
