Elders and Stakeholders of the Ikebiri 1, 2 and 3 of Ikebiri Kingdom in Southern Ijaw Local Government area of Bayelsa State have resolved and set up an electoral committee to conduct a free and fair poll on vacant positions.
The electoral committee ,which was set up In accordance with the Consensus reached in the general meeting which comprised Ikebiri 1, 2 and 3 respectively to streamline decision, Forster peace and harmony, is headed by Comrade Matthew Perekebuna.
The new Electoral Communittee has officially been inaugurated to conduct a free, fair and credible election(s) within the Ikebiri Kingdom (Communities).
The Ikebiri Electoral Committee Chairman, Comrade Matthew Perekebuna and Secretary,Comrade Johnson Emmanuel (JP) in a statement has scheduled 15th November 2025 to conduct Ikebiri 1 CDC CHAIRMANSHIP election.
The Committee therefore urged all aspirants, delegates and every well meaning individuals and General Public to take note.
