As the community development committee (CDC) Chairmanship elections draw near in Ikebiri 1 community in Southern Ijaw LGA, Bayelsa state, a topmost candidate, comrade Nimi Owen, has received more endorsements from members of the community.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Naija Live TV, Mr. Saint Mienpamo Onitsha, has described the incoming Chairman of the community, Mr. Nimi Owen, as the right man to pilot the community affairs.
Mr. Saint Mienpamo who endorsed the former Youth President of Ikebiri 1, on Sunday in his residence in Yenagoa, said Mr. Nimi Owen has been “Tested and Trusted” considering his pedigree and contributions when he was a Youth President of the community.
The Naija Live TV CEO who acknowledged the efforts of the Chairmanship candidate for always ensuring timely dissemination of information to the community and believing in the community’s cause at all times, said if Mr. Nimi emerges the chairman of Ikebiri 1 community, he would demonstrate exceptional leadership.
The CDC Chairmanship candidate who earlier explained the reason for the visit said he would not hesitate to run an all inclusive leadership. He further said he is more prepared for the position, being a one-time youth leader and one who has first hand understanding of the goals of the community.
