The people of Aghoro 1 Community in Ekeremor LGA of Bayelsa state has appreciated the governor of Bayelsa State, Sen. Douye Diri, for the recent appointment of three illustrious sons from the community into his cabinet.

In a Press Statement signed by the Acting Amananaowei of Aghoro 1 Community, HRH. High Chief Fred Orumiene, the community said they are optimistic that those appointed will add value to the prosperity agenda of Diri’s government.

HRM Fred Orumiene also congratulated the Member Representing Sagbama-Ekeremor Federal Constituency, Hon. Fred Agbedi, on his successful inauguration into the 10th National Assembly, saying he is tested, tried and a trusted.

“On behalf of the Chiefs, Elders and the entire good people of Aghoro 1 Community in Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa, His Royal Highness, High Chief Fred Orumiene the acting Amananaowei, sincerely wish to thank His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Executive Governor of Bayelsa State for appointing three of their illustrious sons into the Prosperity Government.

“By these appointments your excellency has shown his desire to impact positively in the lives of the people of the state through his laudable policy and programs which are people oriented.


“Those appointed are: Hon, Engr. Goodnews Gereghewei as Techinical Assistant to the Governor on Special duties. Hon. Demendongha Orodikefie and Hon. Chief. Musi Navy are SSA’s on special duties.

“High Chief Fred Orumiene said they are proud sons of Aghoro 1 Community and he is optimistic in the trio’s ability to add value in their respective appointments while wishing them Gods wisdom, guidance and protection.

“The traditional ruler also uses this medium to felicitate with High Chief Fredrick Y. Agbedi on his successful inauguration into the tenth National Assembly, describing him as tested, tried and a trusted representative who will continue to represent them effectively.

“Once again congratulations to you all on your well-deserved appointments,” the statement read.
