Ondo: Arogbo-Ijaw Youths Congratulate Ojogo as First Arogbo to emerge Reps member, Thanks Gov Akeredolu for support

Ijaw Youths in Ondo state under the aegis of Arogbo Ijaw Youths Network (AIYN), has congratulated the Member Representing Ilaje/ Ese-odo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Donald Kimikanboh Ojogo, on his successful inauguration into the tenth National Assembly.

In a Press statement released and signed by Comrade Samson O. Ajangbini

(Acting Coordinator AIYN) and Comrade Baite Funkpene (Acting Secretary General AIYN), the youths task the newly inaugurated federal lawmaker to look into abandoned projects in the constituency, such as the Arogbo-Agadagba Obon link bridge and make such projects point of deliberations on the floor of the house.

Also thanking the governor of Ondo state, His Excellency, Arakurin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN), for ensuring the emergence of an Arogbo son as the Reps Member, the youths expressed confidence that Hon. Donald will give a quality representation to the river-rine Constituency, which comprises the Arogbo and Apoi Ijaws of Ese-odo and the Ilajes of Ilaje LGAs in Ondo State.

“The Arogbo Ijaw Youth Network (AIYN), hereby wholeheartedly congratulate Hon. Donald Kimikanboh Ojogo, on his successful Inauguration on the 13th of June 2023 as Member House of Representative for Ilaje/ Ese-odo Federal Constituency.

“The entire body of Arogbo Ijaw Youth Network (AIYN) are greatly excited for the successful inauguration of the first Arogbo indigene to be elected to Represent the good people of Ilaje/Ese-Odo Local Government Areas of Ondo state.

“However, AIYN appreciate the Governor of Ondo state Arakurin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, for his undaunted efforts towards the actualization of the Arogbo born politician’s desire to emerged as candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress, and by extension to be elected as a member House of Representatives of the Federation.

“We also appreciate the Ilaje people and the entire Ese-Odo indigenes for their unalloyed support for the materialisation of this historical movement.

“Nevertheless, we want to urge our leader, Hon. Donald Ojogo, to look into any abandoned project in the constituency, like the Arogbo-Agadagba Obon link bridge, and give such project(s) the needed attention to be considered during deliberations on the floor of the 10th National Assembly.

“Nevertheless, we are confident that with the exceptional qualities he possessed, Hon. Donald will give a groundbreaking representation to the river-rine Constituency, which comprises the Arogbo and Apoi Ijaws of Ese-odo and the Ilajes of Ilaje local government areas in Ondo State.

“We, believe the journey of an all inclusive representation that will effect a holistic development and attract the dividends of democracy into our dear Constituency has already began before his inauguration. This is evident in his demonstration of preparedness immediately after he was voted into the green Chamber by the good people of Ese-odo and Ilaje Local Government areas. We are confident in the Capacity and vibrance of Hon. Donald to deliver on his constitutional mandate and campaign promises.

“It is therefore, logical to wish him all the best as he delve into another stage of his political adventure in the Green Chamber.
