OGBOKIRI – The people of Constituency III in Brass Local Government Area, have promised to support the candidature of Hon. Israel Sunny-Goli, who is the APC flagbearer for the Brass-Nembe Federal Constituency seat.
They said they are aware of the far-reaching impact Sunny-Goli has made over the years, as well as his proven leadership qualities and love for the masses, hence their firm resolve to vote him into the House of Representatives in 2019.
The people of Akassa made this known on Thursday during a townhall meeting held at Ogbokiri. The meeting was attended by men, women and youth from the four wards that make up the constituency.
In their separate remarks, Mr. Daniel Ikiedigi (Ward 10) and Chief Dugoebi Kurikie, (Ward 9) poured encomiums on Sunny-Goli, disclosing that, they are fervently ready to work for his victory come 2019.
They, however, urged Sunny-Goli to replicate his kind gestures in Akassa clan, while attracting developmental projects through legislation at the National Assembly.
Also speaking, Miss Esther Duke and Napoleon Dudu advised Sunny-Goli to remember the people of Akassa clan when he eventually goes to the lower chamber, as they strongly believe he will win the elections.
In his remarks, Hon. Israel Sunny-Goli, thanked the people of Akassa for gracing the occasion despite the short notice.
Sunny-Goli, who was represented by Mr. Palimote Botugu, said that the mission to the Green Chamber is driven by a passion to change the narratives of the Brass-Nembe Federal Constituency for good and not about his personal gains.
He promised to be part of any initiative that will unite and bring smile to the people of Akassa clan.
