Oseke Dragged his Opponent in the 2019 House of Rep Election Konbowei to court Over Criminal deformation of Character

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC for Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency, Hon. Preye Oseke has dragged the speaker of Bayelsa state house of assembly and Candidate for the People Democratic Party (PDP) Hon. Kombowei Benson to court for criminal defamation of character

****Hon. Konbowei Benson is the Speaker of Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Representing Southern Ijaw Constituency 4 and also the Candidate of PDP Southern Ijaw Federal constituency. 

****Preye Influence Goodluck Oseke is a private Business Man/Philanthropist and also the Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency.

As a law abiding citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I take exception to being labelled a rogue element, as the speaker of the Bayelsa state house of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Konbowie Benson has alleged against me on the 21st January, 2019.

It would be recalled that on the above mentioned date, Rt. Hon. Konbowie Benson, had told a bewildered audience in one of his campaigns at Otuan community,  in Southern Ijaw L.G.A,  that I, Preye Influence Oseke and Hon. David Lyon, had stockpiled arms, with the intent to kill him (Konbowie Benson) and members of his campaign team during the 2019 general election. Sadly, this went viral on the social media and caused me and my family unquantifiable malicious damage.

I find this assertion which could only be a figment of Hon. Benson’s wild imagination, quite distasteful and injurious to my hard earned reputation, as it is an outright falsehood deliberately sold to the public to impugn my reputation. I am a peace loving man, with a heart for humanity and would never take up arms against my fellow man on any account.

Having weighed the steep cost of this concocted falsehood, in relation to its extensive damage on my reputation, I have hereby directed my lawyer to file a defamation of character suit against Mr konbowie Benson. 

Mr. Konbowie Benson either issue an unreserved public apology to me immediately, or risk facing a criminal defamation suit from me.
