Residents of Yenagoa has been called upon to stay safe, to observe social distancing, wash and sanitize their hands as often as possible.

The call was made by De Norsemen Kclub Incorporated Bayelsa State Chapter who embarked on a sensitization campaign in Yenagoa on the ravaging COVID- 19 pandemic in the world.

The Kclub Guvernor of Bayelsa State Chapter, Engr. Olali Solomon, said covid-19 is real and to this end the Kclub decided to reach out to residents of Yenagoa with palliatives though no recorded case of Covid-19 in Bayelsa State.

The Kclub visited the old, members of the Kclub, families of deceased members, SARS, Ekeki Police Station, Nigerian Correctional Service Okaka, Cameroon returnee camp and some media houses in Bayelsa State.

The beneficiaries including the General Manager of People’s Fm, Lawson Hayford appreciated the unique gesture of De Norsemen Kclub Incorporated. Bayelsa State Chapter.

Items distributed include;hand sanitizers, liquid soap, face masks, garri, rice, bread and other items.
