Lagos records high again with 78 New confirmed cases of COVID-19 …as toll in the state hits 582

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Wednesday confirmed additional 78 new COVID-19 cases in Lagos, bringing the total confirmed cases in the state to 582.

Nigeria has recorded 108 new cases of coronavirus in the country, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 981, with 31 deaths recorded and 197 patients discharged after fully recovering from the virus and testing negative twice.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC announced the new development on Thursday evening via its verified Twitter handle with Lagos recording additional 78 new cases.

108 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported;

14 in FCT
5 in Ogun
4 in Gombe
3 Borno
2 in Akwa Ibom
1 in Kwara
1 in Plateau

As at 11:30 pm 23rd April there are 981 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.
