Dickson’s Loyalist, Comr. Idumange has for the second time within the last 24hours Blasted Gov. Douye Diri, Says, not even one project has been executed After Seven Months as Governor of Bayelsa
The Chieftain of the People Democratic Party (PDP) and core loyalist to former Governor Seriake Dickson, Dr. John Idumange has for the second time calls out the Gov. Douye Diri led administration over what he discribes as a “intolerable stagnation”, poor infrastructure and mismanagement of state resources under his care after Over Seven Months as Governor.
Idumange said yesterday that the Bayelsa PDP Leaders are taking loyal supporters for granted. He further said Some of them even risk being killed during the last Governorship election just because of their loyalty to the party. Describing such act as “shameful”. He further added that “In 2012, massive construct works started three months into the Dickson’s led Restoration Gov’t.”

Dr. John Idumange who’s a strong loyalist to former Governor Seriake Dickson took to his facebook page less than 24hours to drop another interesting piece concerning the administration of the Douye Diri failure to execute not even a single project in the state after receiving over seven months allocation in the State.

“Governor Douye Diri is my elder brother. We have the best of relationship. He is very generous to me. We both worked in Vision 2003, the campaign that popularized Chief Timi Alaibe. We sat together and gave Alaibe the name “Principal”. At no point did I say the prosperity administration has failed”
“My question does not in anyway imply that Governor Douye Diri has failed. Far from that. On the contrary, the question is intended to spur government to take action”
“My colleagues have severally sarcastically insulted me. They believe that my State is stagnant in terms of development. My concern is that Bayelsa State is greater than any individual. As a State, we have received FAAC for seven months and it is not too much for the State to embark on some projects we can see and touch”
He also added;
“If we had no love for the system, we have the capacity to access the anti-graft agencies to investigate the finances of the State but we will not do that in the interest of the stability of the State and for the Love of the helmsmen. Every patriotic Bayelsan should be concerned about the zero-develop level of the State for the past seven months. I have enormous respect for the Governor, his Deputy and the entire team but it is not too much to ask what is going wrong”
“So many people spew trolls at me but that is not the point. What is important is for us to see projects being executed. It does not require any insult, it’s all about projects”
“Go to NDDC and ask. My petitions to EFCC led to the dissolution of two boards and sent some to prison. Bayelsa is our State. We need peace, stability and good governance. We should support the prosperity administration but that does not mean we should tolerate stagnation. Governor Douye Diri does not have a think-tank yet. It is not too late to constitute one. I am 100% in support of the prosperity government but we may be forced to look the other way if this intolerable stagnation lingers”
