Dr. Idumange John who is a Core Loyalist to former Governor of Bayelsa now Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, has shared more light in less than 24hours on how the incumbent Governor of Bayelsa State squandered the N3 Billion CBN Agricultural Loan meant for Bayelsa People, Says it’s too early to “defraud Bayelsans”

But the Chieftain of the People Democratic Party (PDP) and core loyalist to former Governor Seriake Dickson, Dr. John Idumange also alleged that the fraud was perpetrated at the expense of paying the overheads of members of the House of Assembly: which they have succeeded in dividing between two factions.

“Yesterday, I raised the issue of the N3billion Agricultural loan fraud in Bayelsa State. First, John Idumange has defended the masses for about 30 years. The arrow has never missed any target. I investigate and get the facts before I say anything.”

“For those who are doubting me, let me she’d some light on how the first tranche of the loan (N1.5billion) was shared. Under the guise of Bbush clearing, the sum of Forty million (N40million) was given to each person at the top echelon of government. I’m sure you know the hierarchy. Those who got that money know themselves. (I will only publish the full list if you provoke me further).”

“Sadly, that money was never used to clear even a hectare of land. For example Igbogene was designated to be cleared but nothing was done. The PDP Chairman was given the contract of buying Tractors. Let me end here. But note that Ogbia, Nembe and Brass were deliberately omitted.”

“This was even done at the expense of paying the overheads of members of the House of Assembly: which they have succeeded in dividing between two factions.”

“I want government to continue to defend this fraud. I will be tempted to produce a comprehensive list of those who shared the loan. All these happened before Hon. David Alagoa was appointed a Commissioner.”

“My appeal is that the poor farmers should not be denied the loan. Government should source for money to ensure the Agric loan is executed. Bayelsans need food to eat.”

“Government should genuinely help our farmers. Service is the greatest good.”
