The Secretary Nigeria Union of Journalists, Bayelsa State Council, Comrade Stanley Imgbi, who is also an asparant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic party, PDP has assured the God fearing people of Constituency 3 in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State that, he is going to carry out programmes that will impact positively in the areas if given the mandate to represent them at the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.
Comrade Stanley Imgbi stated this in Yenagoa while fielding questions from newsmen on what he intends to do if elected to represent his people at the Bayelsa State House Assembly.
He said, leadership comes from God adding that, if he is given the opportunity, he is going to first and foremost set up three Constituency offices to represent the three political blocks in the area as well as a liason office in Yenagoa to coordinate the activities of Constituency 3.
According to the Comrade Imgbi, he also intends to do all it takes to ensure that, the moribond Peremabiri Rice Farm is revamped to generate employment for the teeming unemployed people from the area. Adding that, it is also going to bring about Agricultural revolution in the area and the state at large.
The PDP hopeful also assured that,aside making laws that will impact positively on his people and the state at large, he also intends to engage the youths from area to be fully involved in sporting activities like football as well as in the entertainment industry amongst other things for the area.
He therefore, pleaded with the people of Bomo-Ibe (Constituency 3) to give him the opportunity to serve them to the be a go-in-beween to attract development to the area for the betterment of all.
