The Rt. Hon. Konbowei Benson, the immediate past Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly and member represented Southern Ijaw Constituency-4 attended the reception of his successor, Hon. Macdonald Igbadiwei at the Ijaw House, Yenagoa.
Konbowei used the medium and thanked the people of Southern Ijaw Constituency-4 for believing in him by giving him the mandate and the needed support for the twelve years in the Assembly, a period he also served as Speaker for a record eight years.
The former Speaker urged the good people of Southern Ijaw Constituency-4 to give Hon. Igbadiwei even more support he was shown to make him succeed.
