Sylva’s Administration will prioritize Human capital development in Bayelsa – Great Joshua MacIver

The Deputy Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the November 11th Polls in Bayelsa state, Great Joshua Maciver, has reiterated that human capital development will be a key focus in Chief Timipre Sylva’s incoming administration if voted into power come November 11th.

The running mate to Chief Sylva made this knowned while interacting with a mammoth crowd of women that welcomed him during his visit to a prominent wrestling champion, ThankGod Obom, A.K.A 2by2, in Ogbia LGA of Bayelsa state on Saturday.

Stressing on the importance of human capital development, the APC deputy guber candidate said without human capital development, every activity of government is a waste.

“Before now, they said it is work over right? But now we are the ones saying it is work over for us because everyone should be very confident.

“No matter the amount of bridges, no matter the amount of roads and the houses, if human being does not see food to eat and live well, all those things are wastage. Human being must see food to eat, get shelter and feed well before he can get strength, before he can get strength to even drive the car he bought with your own money.

“The good thing is that, all the plans the Opu-abadi (Chief Timipre Sylva) has in his government is human capital development, human capital development, human capital development,” he said.

The Leader of Izon-Tukpa movement was optimistic that the APC will confidently win the elections and advised the women to reach out to as many persons they can to leave the sinking PDP and join the Opuabadi/Opuodusu winning train.

While appreciating the mammoth crowd that came to welcome him, Great Joshua Maciver charged the women not to be moved by the deceptive appointments flying in the air, saying that “the way they’re deceiving people with appointment letters, we’re not deceiving people,” he added.
