Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Chief Timipre Sylva, has described youths of the state brilliant, talented and key in making Bayelsa the Glory of All Lands.
Speaking at the Renewed Hope Concert 2023 (Special Bayelsa Youth reception), in Abuja, on Thursday, Chief Sylva posited that Youths of the State held the ace as the state approach the November elections.
Chief Sylva, who was represented by his running mate, Great Joshua Maciver, appraised the resilience, intellect and versatility of youths of the state and assured them of the party’s preparedness to rescue Bayelsans from the current sorry situation.
”It is thrilling to announce that this is my first assignment as the Deputy Governorship candidate of our great party, and what this ticket suggests is that as young men this is our moment, this is our time.
‘My boss, our dear leader, Chief Timipre Sylva believes endlessly in the efficacy of youth, especially Bayelsa youths, all of you seated here.
”Sylva has asked me to tell you all that he is proud of your resilience and unyielding spirit even when the odds are against you, you have shown courage, strength, intellect and versatility. These are virtues our state, our communities can only benefit from.”
The ex-minister appreciated the excos of the Bayelsa state APC youth wing Led by, Chief Preye Agama, who is working round the clock in bringing youths together. He thanked party men and women for always being supportive.
“Sylva also wishes to salute party men and women, the exco and the youth wing Led by Chief Preye Agama who, cleverly, made today happen,” he said.
He equally thanked participants of the concert for being good ambassadors of Bayelsa and flying the flag of the state in a proud and positive light in such a symbolic national event.
