The Senator Representing the Bayelsa Central Senatorial District, Senator Moses Cleopas has expressed sympathy of the Friday’s morning Boat mishap that claimed eight lives in Ogboinbiri Community.
The Bayelsa Central Senator in his condolence Message he personally signed, said that the incident that happened about 1:30am Friday Morning has left him devastated.
The statement read;
“I commiserate with the people of Ogboinbiri Community, particularly the Azazi and Kuro-Kuro compound over the tragic and unfortunate death of our brothers and sisters, whose lives were cut short in a boat accident. “
“The sad incident has left me devastated since morning. It is terrible to hear about the death of this number of persons in a yuletide season like this.”
“As your Senator, words cannot express how shattered I am about the incident. No one’s life deserves to go in that manner.”
“My deepest sympathies also goes out to the people of Kemebiama Community who also lost one of their own in the unfortunate accident. I pray that God will grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
“May God comfort the families of our departed kinsmen and grant them eternal rest.”
