The member representing the Bayelsa Central Senatorial District, Senator Moses Cleopas has provided reasons why he challenged the nomination of Friday Konbowei Benson as the candidate of the PDP in the forthcoming 2023 general elections for Bayelsa Central Senatorial District.
At a briefing in Yenagoa, Senator Cleopas further stated that it was proper to correct the wrong impressions of some persons in the public about his decision to approach the court to seek redress on the alleged injustice meted against him.
The Senator used the opportunity of the briefing to also assess his level of performance in the Senate of the 9th Assembly for the past two years.
While commending the State Governor, Senator Cleopas appreciated the Bayelsa State PDP family for the privileges he has enjoyed so far as Party man from the beginning of his political career, stressing that he is not them for granted but remain deeply grateful.
He assured his constituents of better packages that will increase human capacity development in the senatorial district, promising to focus his energy on executing projects before the expiration of his first tenure.
