RESIDENTS SCOOP FUEL FROM LEAKING TANKER IN ASABA DESPITE EXPLOSION RISK

Dozens of residents were seen scooping fuel from a leaking tanker along the City Gate area of Asaba, Delta State, despite the risk of a possible explosion.

Videos circulating online showed men and women carrying buckets, jerrycans, and other containers to collect the spilled fuel from the tanker.

The incident reportedly occurred after the tanker developed a leak, attracting a large crowd to the scene.

The development has raised safety concerns, as previous tanker fuel spillages in different parts of the country have resulted in deadly explosions.
