He said it is part of efforts at repositioning Graphic for optimal performance. Hon Fanwo explained that the additional four-page Magazine will cater for Kogi indigenous languages which is aimed at enriching the paper and protecting the cultural heritage of the state.

The Unity Magazine is designed to provide in-depth analysis and review on the major news and contents of the Graphic newspapers in four local languages in the state.

The Commissioner also disclosed that The e-copies of The Graphic would be part of the regular features of the state website.

In his words, “I want to thank you specially for your hardwork and cooperation over the months that we have worked together. We wouldn’t have achieved all we did without your cooperation.

“But despite being the best state-owned newspaper in Nigeria, we want to be better by far. We wont be tired of introducing more innovations to keep us at the top of the business in Nigeria.

“The Marketing Department should do more by getting more adverts to sustain production as we are looking at ways of ensuring we do not become a cost centre for government”.

Fanwo assured the Management and staff of The Graphic of better days ahead, “saying the Governor is committed to promoting information dissemination in the State”.
