The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced that there are 14 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria.
NCDC made this announcement a short while ago via its Twitter account. “14 new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria: 2 in FCT, 12 in Lagos.”
According to the agency, out of the 14 cases, “6 were detected on a vessel, 3 are returning travellers into Nigeria & 1 is close contact of a confirmed case.”

Earlier today, it was widely reported that six patients had recovered from the coronavirus in Lagos and were set to be discharged.
