Youths From the 36 State of Nigeria under the auspices of “Youths Earnestly Demand for Goodluck Jonathan 2023” (YED 4 GEJ 2023), has called on the former president to contest the 2023 presidential election, adding that its (the group) has resolved to fund his political campaign.
It noted that Jonathan met a Nigeria with a faulty constitution; saw the need to restructure Nigeria and conveyed a national confab in 2014, but was unable to implement its recommendations because he was voted out of office in 2015.
The group said most Nigerians, including the youths, were too blind then to see that Nigeria’s problem was the inability of Nigerians as a people to renegotiate the country’s unity.
The Pressure group called on various stakeholders to rally support for Dr. Goodluck Jonathan to complete the task of building Nigeria on sound constitutional frame work which he (GEJ) started with the inauguration of the National confab that brought all Nigerians together in one voice.
The “Youths Earnest Demand For Goodluck Ebele Jonathan 2023” in a statement sent to NAIJA LIVE TV and Jointly signed by Prince Teddy Omiloli (National Chairman), Comrade Hauwa Nana Isah (National Women leader) and Hon. Christopher Bidi (Youth Ambassador) after the conclusion of the group’s two weeks South South consultation tour which ended yesterday 9th of January 2022.
The group further called on all stakeholders from the South South to speak with one voice and rally together to negotiate , support, and work assiduously with other stakeholders across Nigeria for Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to return as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023

“We Nigerian Youths under the umbrella of Youths “Earnestly Demand for Goodluck Ebele Jonathan 2023” whishes to call on all stake holders ,Youth groups in demanding Nigerians to support the great South South Son former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to complete the task of building Nigeria on sound constitutional frame work which he started with the constitutional conference”
“We also plead that all stake holders, Royal Fathers and Youths of South South should with one voice rally together to negotiate , support, and work assiduously with other stakeholders holders across Nigeria for this great son of the Region Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, and return him as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023 to complete his tenure”
