The Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, has led the weekly Prosperity Walk alongside the newly sworn-in Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Akpe.
Following the walk, the Governor performed the ceremonial kick-off for Season Eight of the Annual Prosperity Football Cup at the main bowl of the Samson Siasia Sports Complex, Ovom.
The Government of Assured Prosperity continues to support this grassroots football competition and other related initiatives as part of its commitment to promoting sports development across the state.
