Gov. Dickson Fires Walter Liverpool as Bayelsa SUBEB Executive Secretary …Replaced him with Pius Jonah

The Executive Secretary of the Bayelsa State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Comr. Walter Liverpool has been suspended from the board.

The order of his suspension came from the Bayelsa State House of Assembly through a motion from the Leader of the house, Hon. Monday Edwin Bubou Obolo representing Southern Ijaw Constituency-2.

Subsequently, the house received the name of Mr. Pius Jonah to be considered as Comr. Liverpool’s replacement.

The name of Mr. Pius Jonah was contained in a letter addressed to the Rt. Hon. Speaker, Tonye Emmanuel Isenah by Governor Seriake Dickson and was read on the floor by the Clerk of the Assembly.

In a unanimous resolution of members of the house, Mr. Pius Jonah is to be screened tomorrow Thursday 18th July, 2019 at 10am prompt.

Mr. Pius Jonah is expected to come along with thirty (30) photocopies each, of all his relevant credentials for the screening exercise.
