The Controller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Haliru Nababa, has deployed John Francis as the new Controller of Corrections Federal Capital Territory Command.

According to a statement signed by the spokesperson for the FCT Command, Adamu Duza, on Friday, Francis would replace Ibrahim Idris, who was recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Controller General of Corrections, in charge of Training and Staff Development.

Idris eulogised the staff of the FCT Command for their support, stating, “I can only say I am successful if my successor succeeds.”

He expressed confidence in the ability of the incoming controller to take FCT Command to a higher level.

Francis eulogised the ACG for his track record in the command while seeking his continuous cooperation.

Until Francis’ recent deployment, he was the National Chaplain-Protestant NCoS Headquarters, Abuja.
