Edo State House of Assembly Swears in Rt. Hon Marcus Onobun as New Speaker

NAIJA LIVE TV can authoritatively report that the Edo State House of Assembly has sworn in New Speaker.

Rt. Hon Marcus Onobun has been sworn in as the speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly.

He was sworn in minutes after the impeachment of Frank Okoye.

Recall NAIJA LIVE TV has reported that Okiye’s impeachment followed a motion by the Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Henry Okhurobo.

The impeachment letter was signed by the nine out of the 10-members who were present at the brief sitting on Monday.
