‘DSS detains man for 10 weeks for using sim card abandoned by Buhari’s daughter’ – Sowore

Founder of SaharaReporters and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore took to his social median page to share a recent story of how a Nigerian man referred to as Anthony Chude Okolie was reportedly detained for 10 weeks for using a phone line previously used and abandoned by President Buhari’s daughter, Hanan.

According to the report, the young man who is domicile is Asaba bought a new sim card from a shop without knowing who previously used it. The operativers of the Department of State Service DSS, reportedly stormed Anthony’s friend’s home in Asaba and got Anthony arrested and detained him for months.

Omoyele Sowore, who shared the story on his Twitter handle wrote:

“A Nigerian, Anthony Okolia, was detained for 10 weeks by the DSS for using an MTN phone line previously used and abandoned by President Buhari’s daughter, Hanan!”

And a friend added

: “Anthony Chude Okolie… Not Okolia. He is my friend and my primary school class mate. He bought the NEW sim card from a shop o. It was a big shock when the DSS came to Asaba to arrest him at his friend’s home. He was detained for several months by the DSS.”
