I would like to express my immense gratitude to the campaign director of the East Senatorial District, Hon. Edi Orubo, the campaign director for Ogbia Local Government, Hon. Chief Samuel Ogbuku, the APC chairman Ogbia L.G, Hon. Abi Morris Bako, and the dynamic leader at the center of the Ogbia kingdom unity movement, Hon. Maxwell Oko.

I witnessed the sagacity of these men in people handling firsthand, and I have come to develop a great respect for them. I know the future holds great promises for Ogbia with men of these qualities championing new and a better united Ogbia kingespeciallyant to specially thank these noble leaders, for the privilege to have been a part of the work they did during the Gubernatorial campaigns. Whenever there was a responsibility, these men reached out to me, and with clear instructions.Their readiness to accept and engage every person regardless of background or previous affiliations is exemplary.

I pray for increased grace and ability as they take on the great service of the government. May God use them as instruments of progress, development, and advancement in the destiny and narrative of our great state and local government.

Good governance takes root in the local communities. If there’s a grassroots transformation in the Local Governments that make up our dear state, then Bayelsa at large will experience unprecedented growth. The state was made for the people, the people are the state. Developmental efforts must, therefore, be focused on the people, on creating a thriving environment for the people.

My charge, therefore, to every incoming leader of every capacity is to make conscious efforts to transform his or her local jurisdiction the people in his or her immediate care.

In Ogbia, our most pressing challenges are good road network, stable power supply, functioning gas turbine and of course people empowerment. If efforts are pointed at improving these areas of our local affairs, Ogbia will be recognized as per growth and development.

It is the next level for Bayelsa state, a new dawn of development for our people.

A better Bayelsa is possible
