Battle Looms In Bayelsa PDP Over Senatorial Bye-Elections Media List …As Oforji and Cocodia battles for Supremacy

Earlier today, there was a mild drama between the media aides to Hon Collins Cocodia, Special Adviser to Gov Douye Diri on Political Matters and Hon. Oboku Oforji, the lawmaker representing Yenagoa Cosntistuency 1 at the Bayelsa state House of Assembly over an alledged hijack of Bayelsa Central Senatorial Campaign Media list.

Information made available to NAIJA LIVE TV states that Media Aides to Hon Oforji accused Hon Collins Cocodia of hijacking the entire campaign structure, claiming Cocodia has no electoral value or importants to the central Bye-elections and he has been advised to stay clear or Oforjii will leave the entire electioneering process for the Special Adviser to Gov douye Diri on political matter.

In the same vein, media aides to Collins, also accused Oforji who claims to be the strength and grassroot mobilizer in Yenagoa LGA but later ran away during the last Governorship election after huge amount of funds was given to him for mobilization.

The media aides also made it known that Gov Douye Diri, would have lost his Senatorial Elections to the APC candidate, Barr Festus Daumiebi, if not for Oforji stressing that Diri had no political force and was not marketable enough to stand the likes of Barr Festus in the pols.

Furthermore, Oforji through his media aides called on Gov Douye Diri to withdrew Cocodia from the activities of the Beyelsa Central as regards to the Bye-election that he will leave everything for the Governor and Cocodia, and see if they can stand the force of Chief Abel Ebifemowei.

Reacting to numerous post regards to the said post made by Oforji Media Aides, Collins through his media aides called Oforji a greedy and selfish fellow, and also accused him of not wanting others within the party in Yenagoa not to grow because he wants power all to himself, it was also learnt that Media aides to collins cocodia claimed that with or without oforji PDP and CLeopas will still win, and the Yenagoa Constituency 1 lawmaker should not see himself as God.

futhermore, Cocodia media aides address Oforji’s media aides as incompetent and lowlife fellows which was the reasons why they were not included in the campaign media list, because they lack contents to project and defend the party candidate.
