The Senator Representing the good people of Bayelsa Central Senatorial Districts of the National Assembly, Sen. Moses Cleopas has purchase his People Democratic Party’s (PDP) nominations form to contest the forthcoming general elections.
Senator Cleopas Moses Zuwoghe was Born to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Sunday Cleopas of Koluama in the present day of Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
On the 19th of November, 1972, young Cleopas had his primary and secondary schools in Koluama before venturing out to further his education at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port-Harcourt, where he bagged a B.Sc in Secretarial Administration and M.Sc degree in Management from the Niger Delta University, Amassoma.
Senator Cleopas Moses Zwoghe, representing Bayelsa Central Senatorial District at the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was inaugurated on the 15th day of December, 2020, after his victory at the Bye-election conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Saturday 5th of December, 2020.
His election into the Senate was as a result of the emergence of Senator Douye Diri’s elevation to the exalted seat of Governor, Bayelsa State.
During the 2019 Governorship elections in Bayelsa State, The Name Cleopas, as the then State Chairman of PDP, was likened to the biblical David who defended the people of Israel in the face of daunting challenges, especially when intimidated by the giant from Philistine, Goliath who boasted to defy the God and people of Israel in the field of battle.
He led the party to several electoral battles and the results abound, further endearing him to millions of party faithful within and outside the State.
