……Says he might join forces with opposition to kick out Manager
In what appears to be a worrisome development, Gen. Godspower Kokeme, popularly called GKD, chairman third phase Generals in the presidential Amnesty programme has threatened to withdraw his continued support for Senator James E. Manager in his re-election bid come 2019.
Gen. DKD made the disclosure in a statement issued to newsmen in Warri, a copy of which was sent to NAIJALIVETV.COM
According to Gen. Godspower, himself and his boys had always supported Sen. James E. Manager, the senator representing Delta South senatorial district in almost all his elections, but regretted that despite his contributions, he has not benefited anything from the Senator.
However, chairman of the third phase generals had stated that he might be joining the opposition to kick out Manager, stressing that he is tired of playing politics without any tangible benefit from the senator.
He had however praised Pondi for at least empowering some of his boys, but lambasted J. E for not coming to the rescue of his boys despite their huge contributions.
He said the press statement becomes very imperative as his boys had continued to question his silence on Manager, accusing of bribery.
Meanwhile, the militant leader had further tasked other political leaders in the state to emulate the political gestures of Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency in the house of Representatives, Abuja.
When asked if he had concluded all plans to finally join forces with the opposition, GKD had stated that he is still ready to meet with Manager to sort things out with him, this he said Manager must do urgently before it get too late to a point of no return.
Nevertheless, all efforts towards hearing from Sen. James Manager proves abortive as calls put across to his mobile phone was not reachable.
