Michael Johnny Threatens Party With Law Suit Over Disqualification of APC Delta South Senatorial Ticket

High Chief Michael Johnny, an unhappy and aggrieved aspirant in the Delta South Senatorial District, said Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan emerged as the Candidate from a “flawed process” organized by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole just as he threatened to go to court over his disqualification from the APC primary election recently held in Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Michael handed down the threat in a chat with newsmen in Warri.

Chief Johnny who is a prominent leader in Gbaramatu Kingdom said declaring Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan as the only cleared aspirant in the contest is “daylight robbery”.

While noting that he will not abandon the APC because of his love for President Muhammadu Buhari.

Chief Johnny called on the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC to address the alleged injustice or meet him in court.

He condemned the action of the party saying,” APC will regret its action during the general election if the progress of emergence of the party candidate is not transparent and credible.”

He called on Oshiomhole to abhor imposition and do the needful to avert anticipated crisis in the Niger Delta region as well as show himself a true Democrat.

Chief Johnny said the selection process of Dr. Uduaghan is a “Sham” to democracy in the Country.

According to him, “How can reasons of disqualification not be made known to Aspirants?”

Other Aspirants who contested the Senator ticket are Evans Omasoguwa, Barr. Temisan Omatseye and AVM. Terry Okorodudu (Rtd) and Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan.
