The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka, recently shared a message with the public through his church’s Facebook page. According to reports, during his speech, the cleric referred to a Bible passage from Acts chapter 12. He pointed out that the chapter tells the story of King Herod who had vowed to destroy the apostles if they ever preached the gospel of Christ.

Father Mbaka emphasized that despite King Herod’s threats, God still protected his apostles. In a dramatic turn of events, King Herod was sitting in his chamber when God raised an instant judgment against him for taking part in his glory. This led to worms immediately feeding on his flesh. Father Mbaka explained that this biblical story was a powerful reminder that no one could stand in the way of God’s plan and that He would always protect His faithful followers.

According to him: “You may ask why I say this. Now listen very carefully! We have had a peaceful presidential election in Nigeria. Even if it is not exactly what the Nigerians expected. But the fact remains that God knows the best for us all. On this note, Tinubu’s swearing-in should be done in peace else worms will eat you. Just the way King Herod was eaten by worms.”
