The attention of the Ebiowei Campaign Organization (ECO) has been drawn to a campaign of calumny against our respected Barr. Ebiowei Felix Iyanimigha, the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for the Bayelsa State House of Assembly to represent the good people of Southern Ijaw Constituency 2.
The propagandists, particularly members of some opposition party members in Southern Ijaw Constituency 2 have been spreading a concocted rumour against our candidate (Barr. Ebiowei Felix) to the effect that he is being sponsored by the PDP and Hon. Obolo Monday Bubou to embark on a fictitious or rather deceptive political campaigns for the Legislative seat.
Our candidate (Barr. Ebiowei Felix Iyanimigha) is an independent candidate of the SDP. He will never trade his call to serve on the altar of any harmonisation among party candidates, whether now, or later.
Our candidate wishes to advice the mischief makers responsible for circulating the falsehood rebutted above and clearly states that elections are not won on through cheap lies and blackmail.
While reassuring the general public and our teeming supporters of our commitment and zeal in the forthcoming elections, we warn the mischief makers to stop further campaigns of calumny against the SDP candidate (Barr. Ebiowei Felix) and concentrate on their own political campaigns.
We hereby restate our resolute determination to stay focused to the realisation of our mission, which is to redefine quality representation to the good people of Southern Ijaw Constituency 2.
Barr. Felix Ebiowei campaign team and the SDP therefore plead and advise the unsuspecting public and teeming supporters to discountenance the above falsehood as lies from the pit of hell.
