The National president, Niger Delta Students Union Government NIDSUG, Comrade Goodness N-epba commends the National assembly for passing the Sexual harassment bill into law.
He stated that NIDSUG has led multiple demonstrations to the National Assembly before now requesting the lawmakers to look in this issue which has become another pandemic in our higher institutions lately. Students are several harassed by lecturers with sex for grades. Comrade Goodness N-epba earlier made a peaceful demonstration indulging students especially the vulnerable female students to ‘say no to sex for grade’.
He went further and commended the Deputy Senate President Senator Avie Omo Agege who spiked the sponsorship of the bill, monitored it and had it passed into law.
