The “RCCG Dating Site” titled Redeemers Connect is for Singles ready for marriage. The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), the City of David in Victoria Island, Lagos, has launched a dating website.
Days after the website went live, the church posted on its official Facebook page, “There is no marriage in heaven!” “We’re here to assist you in making connections and, hopefully, meeting your soul mate.”
A look at the website reveals that the dating platform brings adults together in the hopes of courtship and marriage.

Participants must first register and have their information processed before being approved. Participants will not be charged a fee to use the platform.
“The Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David Parish expressly disclaims any liability regarding any damages sustained by any registrant as a result of connecting with anyone on this platform,” the disclaimer continued.
The Parish Pastor, Idowu Iluyomade, said people on the platform are of various ages in a video posted to the church’s Facebook page.
“We have people ranging in age from 20 to 65,” Pastor Idowu wrote on social media. Participants can already attend virtual masterclasses where they will learn about key ingredients for a successful marriage.
