“Peace Accord Summit”: IYC Visit leading Candidates …As Ebebi advocates for peaceful and violent free elections

The Excos Of The Ijaw Youth Council, Central Zone Paid A Courtesy Visit To The APC Senatorial Candidate In Bayelsa West Senatorial District Bye-election, Rt. Hon. Peremobowei Ebebi At His Campaign Office.

The excos of the Ijaw Youth Council, Central Zone ably led by the Chairman, Comr. Clever Osuma Inodu and other members of the Council paid a courtesy visit to the incoming Senator in Bayelsa West Senatorial District; who is the Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Bayelsa West Senatorial District Bye-election, Rt. Hon. Peremobowei Ebebi to officially familiarize with him as part of their visit to Senatorial Candidates to ensure a peaceful and violent free election in the forthcoming senatorial district bye-elections in the State.

In the statement of the Council Chairman, Hon. Clever Osuma Inodu thanked Peremobowei Ebebi for making out the time out of his busy schedules to receive them wholeheartedly and also to discuss the way forward for a peaceful and violent free election come 31st of October, 2020. He added that he has known the Candidate of the APC in Bayelsa West Senatorial District Bye-election, Rt. Hon. Peremobowei Ebebi as a very humble and peaceful servant leader over the years. And as such, he is sure that there will be a peaceful and violent free elections at the polls.

In the speech of the incoming Senator in Bayelsa West, Rt. Hon. Peremobowei Ebebi used the medium to appreciate them for their relentless efforts working towards ensuring a peaceful and violent free elections come 31st of October, 2020. He also used the medium to state it categorically that they should not allow themselves to be used by any political party or candidate in the forthcoming senatorial bye-elections or any other elections to come.

He added that Ijaw Youths Council as a non-governmental organization, they should use the organization to set good records and standard towards ensuring peace and unity among the Ijaw Nation in general for the betterment of all. And also to ensure that the goals and objectives of the organization is achieved for the betterment of the Council and the people in general.
