PDP rejects appointment of President Buhari’s sister, Amina Zakare as INEC head of collation in the 2019 general elections

The PDPs spokesperson, Kola Olugbondinya made the rejection in a press conference still ongoing at the party’s Secretariat, Abuja.

In his rejection speech, Kola indicted Zakare of manipuilating election results in Ekiti and Osun States in favour of the APC despite public outcry and condemnation.

He therefore call on the EU and other international democratic institutions to prevail on the already compromised INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu to terminate Zakare’s appointment as INEC head of collation officer as the PDP is convinced that Zakare is there to manipulate the process to allocate fictitious figures to Buhari and the APC against the PDPs Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who is now clear as the preferred candidate by majority of Nigerians.
