PDP Jittery as Supreme Court Revisit Bayelsa, Imo Judgement …as Justice Tanko heads Bayelsa Panel

Last week, the supreme court of Nigeria nullified the victory of Bayelsa State Governor-Elect Chief David Lyon, and declared PDP candidate as the winner of the 2019 Gubernatorial election.

The court decision came few hours to Chief David’s inauguration. The five man panel headed by Justice Mary Odili nullified the APC candidate victory because his deputy submitted forged certificates to INEC.

The decision of the court has generated different reactions among Nigerians. Many Nigerians including the ruling party, APC called for the review of the judgement.

However, the supreme is set to review the Bayelsa State Judgement. The panel that will sit for the review is headed by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ibrahim Tanko and other five judges. According to Source.

However, many Nigerians including PDP supporters have reacted to this news. Many Nigerians claimed that they do not trust the CJN on this matter because the Imo state decision made by the panel headed by Justice Tanko is still fresh on their mind.

They finally call on the CJN to be plain and transparent with his decision on bayelsa Judgement.
