A pressure group, the Bensomo Movement for Epie/Atissa people has drummed support for Barr. Benjamin S. Ogbara to occupy the seat of the Yenagoa constituency 1 in the Bayelsa State House of assembly

The group stated their position in a viral social media post obtained by NAIJA LIVE TV noted that, Barr. Ogbara, is a loyal Party man who has shown Capacity in all ramifications and deserve the APC ticket to run for the forthcoming State House of assembly election in Yenagoa constituency 1 seat.

Benjamin S. Ogbara, is a seasoned legal practitioner with over 18 years experience in the areas of Oil and Gas, Civil and Criminal Litigation , He has handled several compensation and oil pollution cases in Bayelsa state leading handsome compensation to oil communities. He is also youth and social development advocate and a lover of Epie/Atissa and Bayelsa people.

He has wide knowledge even in political office arena as he has served as Permanent Boad Member 1, FCT UBE Board Abuja 2012-2015 and also served as Director, Ethics and Compliance, Due Process Bureau, Bayelsa State December 2016- October 2019. He has deep knowledge in public governance and due process. He is a humanist and a welfarist.
