Over 40 health workers tested positive for COVId-19 in Nigeria – Min of Health, Ehanire

Osagie Ehanire, the minister of health on Thursday announced that forty health workers tested positive for the coronavirus.

Ehanire disclosed this during the presidential task force briefing on Thursday.

The minister appealed to frontline workers to always protect themselves when treating patients.

“Forty health workers in Nigeria have tested positive to COVID-19, he said.

“We advise medical workers in the frontline of the COVID-19 fight to protect themselves carefully while giving treatment to infected patients,” Ehanire said.

Meanwhile, Nigeria on Wednesday confirmed 91 cases of Coronavirus, bringing the number of confirmed cases to 873 in the country.
