News pouring in from the Osun governorship election rerun showed that there had been a lot of irregularities, such that even INEC raised alarm.

However, the chairman of Silverbird Television, Ben Murray Bruce, has said that his media team were on ground to cover the election, and what they witnessed, according to Ben Bruce, is not good for Nigeria democracy.
Ben Bruce took to his twitter page to give an insight of what Silverbird reporters witnessed.
He said: “Reporters for @SilverbirdTV are on the ground and have eye witness evidence of massive voting irregularities in Osun. @officialPDPNg Nigeria voters are being prevented from voting. They are beaten. Thugs are unleashed on innocents. The level of depravity is disheartening.”
