The Member Representing Southern Ijaw Federal constituency, Hon. Preye Influence Goodluck Oseke has commemorated with the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, His Excellency (Chief) Timipre Sylva on his Conferment of National Honor – Commander of The Order Of the Niger (CON) by President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.
NAIJA LIVE TV report that the minister was conferred with the national honours alongside with 449 other Nigerians by President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday.
Oseke in a statement posted on his official Facebook page said that, the conferment of national award on Chief Sylava is a testament of a sustained leadership acumen
“On behalf of the good people of Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency, I wholeheartedly felicitate with the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, His Excellency (Chief) Timipre Sylva, on your Conferment of the National Honor – Commander of The Order Of the Niger (CON) – by President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR. Truly, this is a further testament of your sustained leadership acumen”
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and the President’s Chief of Staff Ibrahim Gambari were also in attendance at the event which was held in Abuja earlier today.
Others were awarded the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON), Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR), and Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON).
