The CEO of NAIJA LIVE TV, Saint Mienpamo Onitsha, has received more condolence messages from high profiled individuals including former Governor and Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Bayelsa State, Chief Timipre Sylva.
The former Minister of Petroleum Resources, while condoling with Mr. Saint Mienpamo over the demise of his mother, late Madam Florence Ododo Onitsha, aged 87, encouraged him to uphold the good legacies his mother has left behind.
“On behalf of the All Progressives Congress in Bayelsa State, my dear wife Alanyingi and my family, we send our sincerest condolence to you on the passing of your family’s matriarch Madam Florence Onitsha,” said the former governor.
Mr. Saint Mienpamo Onitsha who lost his mother late 2023, also received condolences from other notable individuals, Oganizations and unions. They include former Chairman of Brass LGA, Bayelsa State, Hon. Bello Bina, the Nigeria Union of Journalists (Bayelsa Chapter) and the Ayeweisoft Limited.
Traditional Councils who also sent their condolences including the Paramount Ruler of Ogboinbiri Community in Southern ljaw LGA (SILGA) Bayelsa state, HRH Ben Okosughe, Paramount Ruler of Ikebiri 2 Community, HRH. FSD Fiobotei among others.
The NAIJA LIVE TV CEO mother’s funeral slated for the week is scheduled as follows;
FRIDAY 25th OCTOBER 2024: 800am: Body leave FMC Yenagoa in a motorcade to Angiama Waterside.
10:00am: Body arrive Ikebiri 1 Community, Southern ljaw LGA, Bayelsa state, in her husband’s Compound for a brief lying-in-state.
10:15am: Body arrive her Father’s compound for Traditional rites.
11:00am: Christian Funeral Service. (Apostle Gily Digenini and the Serimo Jesus Band.
Alias Beinmukoroumene 1 of Niger Delta.
2:00pm: Interment.
3:00pm to 5:00pm: Special display by the Egbele Egbele Dance Troupe of Olugbobiri Kingdom. 5:00pm to 6:00pm: Football match between Yenagoa based FC and Home based FC of Ikebiri Kingdom.
7:00pm till dawn: Director Kokou Prosper Tamunoemi A.K.A Junior Barrister Live till daybreak in an all night traditional wake-keeping.
SATURDAY: 26th OCTOBER 2024
Traditional Ogele Display by the United Ikebiri Kingdom women forum.
SUNDAY: 27th OCTOBER 2024
7:00pm; Comedy Night, Followed by DJ display.
MONDAY: 28th OCTOBER 2024
10:00am. Canoe race between Tamakuno Compound and Tuburukuno Compound.
TUESDAY: 29th OCTOBER 2024
8:00am: Traditional Tebesen (scraping of head) followed by ALEGBE MASQUERADE Of Ikebiri Kingdom. 4:00pm: Live entertainment by Fc D Storyteller and his Conventional Crew as Special Guests.
7:00pm Till Dawn: OWIGIRI NIGHT; Music by Christian AGOKE and his Talented brothers band of Africa.
