Military Combined Forces allegedly arrests Opu-Nembe youth leader with fire arms, gunshot injuries in Bayelsa Community

A youth leader, identified as Moses Ayerite, has been reportedly arrested in possession of caches of firearms and with gunshot injuries by a combined team of the Armed Forces following the continual unrest in the ancient Opu-Nembe kingdom.

According to a reliable source, the youth leader was arrested Thursday evening by the team of military officers, adding that he will be handed over to the police on Friday for onward investigation and prosecution.

At the time of filing this report, all efforts to reach the youth president proves abortive as his number is switched off.
