The name Major Jasper Isaac Adaka Boro signifies a people (IJAW’S) with vision , vision for freedom, freedom against oppression , oppression of exploitation from the proceeds of oil & gas wealth of the Niger Delta region.

It was a vision for us all and generations of IJAW NATION yet unborn.

It was a vision that was concieved beyond the dark crude and the deep waters and goes further than the length of the shores of our region and wider than the coast of the Niger !

The twelve days revolution was under the emblem of resources control embedded in a fight against unfair policies that led to unproductiveness of our region, a fight against starvation of civilization to our people that would springforth by withholding our resources from our reach ,a fight to unravel a stunted growth of achievable heights through our resources.

The sound of the voice of this vision was loud because it was echoed in uniformity of togetherness, each bullet that was fired for the vision covered a distance for a better IJAW NATIONS!

As we move closer to this historic day of remembrance of our ethnic democracy we must realize that we are carriers of this vision.

We must translate and relate this vision to ourselves and generations unborn in oneness for the betterment of IJAW NATION.

Positively we must be radical in our thoughts, dogged in proposing our policies and resilient in objecting defficiencies for the progress of IJAW NATION.

Above all , we must fight the new testament fight of Knowledge and wisdom only in unity even as we remain the disciples of our hero MAJOR DASPER ADAKA BORO as we anchor on his quote :

“Today is a great day, not only in your lives but also in the history of the Niger Delta. Perhaps, it will be the greatest day for a very long time. This is not because we are going to bring the heavens down, but because we are going to demonstrate to the world what and how we feel about oppression. Remember your 70-year-old grandmother who still farms before she eats; remember also your poverty-stricken people; remember, too, your petroleum which is being pumped out daily from your veins; and then fight for your freedom.” as a strength with which we push to broden this vision from better to best from generation to generations for the betterment of IJAW NATION
