Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in November 16 election in Bayelsa state, Chief David Lyon has opened his campaign office in Yenegoa, with a plea to people of the state to vote massively for him.
He commended the people of Bayelsa State for the unprecedented and overwhelming solidarity displayed during the opening of the campaign office.
A statement signed by his media adviser, Chief Gift Ebiki stated that Chief Lyon signifies love, peace, unity and prosperity for Bayelsa state.
Speaking to party faithfuls and Supporters after the ceremony, Chief Lyon assured all Sons and daughters of Bayelsa State of his resolve to administer the state with the fear of God saying everybody will be accorded equal right and opportunity.
The APC flag bearer further advised the people of the state not to be persuaded by the old antics of the PDP led government and political jobbers which is propagating unfunded lies.
According to him, it is only INEC that recognizes party candidates and not the Bayelsa state Governor, Hon. Seriake Dickson.
“I am waiting for the Certificate of victory from INEC come November 16th 2019 with the assurance that Bayelsans will vote for me overwhelmingly; my victory is ordained by God almighty,” he added.
Chief Lyon appealed to the people of Bayelsa state to join the moving train and usher in a government of the people by the people and for the people stressing that “your support for making me your governor will not be in vain.”
